About Us

We’ve gone from almost 2 decades of “1 Girl, 2 Guys, 3 Chords… Blood, Sweat & Feedback” to 2 brothers playing “Proper Bare Knuckle Rock-n-Roll”

What can be said about Larry Love that is not already known?? The man enjoys expensive tequila and pepperoni rolls (only the real ones from Fairmont WV). I don’t know if he enjoys these together… you’ll have to ask him.

I search all day, but won’t breathe a word… you’ll fade away, away from my world. It might feel funny if I pass you by alone. A tourist attempting to hide in plain sight.

Our Story

“1 Girl, 2 Guys, 3 Chords… Blood, Sweat & Feedback” that was the motto of Blister, a three piece rock band that wrote simple songs, and played them loud, fast and drenched with passion. That simple motto stood for nearly two decades. But nothing lasts forever, eventually time runs out. And that’s what began happening to Blister when bassist, Natasha Fatale, became ill. Initially doctors gave her 3 days to live, but she had better plans. Blister had a handful of new songs and she had every intention of recording them. So that’s what happened, as soon as she could strap on her bass, recording an album became Blister’s main focus. Natasha lived almost 3 years longer than they thought she would. Long enough to squeeze in a few more gigs, write a few more songs and lay down 20 final tracks. But unfortunately, she did not live long enough to hear the finished product. The truth is, as soon as she knew her bass parts were done, she relaxed and she was gone. A bitter pill for the band, but there was never any doubt about what would happen next. It was Larry & Dave’s turn to suck it up, gut it out and finish what they had all started. It wasn’t easy, it absolutely wasn’t pretty, but a year and half later and No Good Deeds was complete. 20 songs, over 60 minutes of music, almost 20 years of love, joy, struggle, friendship, memories and shared dreams, all frozen in time together on one last album.

1 Girl, 2 Guys, 3 Chords… Blister will never be that again, but the blood, the sweat & the feedback… that’s all still right there in every second of every song on No Good Deeds.

Cut to 2022 the boys are back and they brought the weird loudness with them. After a few years floundering about, Larry began to write the songs that would jolt Blister back to life.

I hadn’t written anything interesting since Deeds, I thought I was probably done… I wasn’t going to fake it. Blister meant too much to me to do that. Anyway, Larry’s songs were fresh and edgy and I got to start playing drums again… and it was fun again, and the spark was back. I started writing songs again & now we have Bent. All the credit or blame falls squarely on Larry for this one. dave

Music is an honest expression of the hopes one holds in their heart. But her expectations can also breed despair. This is why many both love & hate it.
